    Beginning this month, Sacramento State will be allowed to have up to 20 percent capacity for outdoor home athletic events.

    Longtime Sacramento State employee and passionate Hornet fan Laurel Hargrove passed away on March 19, 2021 after a short battle with ALS. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Apr. 3, at Mount Vernon Cementery at 10 a.m. Per Laurel’s request, attendees are encouraged to wear green and gold to the service.

  • LIMITED FAN ATTENDANCE TO BEGIN IN APRIL FOR OUTDOOR HOME EVENTS

    Beginning April 1, Sacramento State will allow a limited number of fans to attend outdoor home events. Per guidelines set by the California Department of Public Health, up to 100 spectators will be permitted to attend outdoor home events while Sacramento County remains in the purple tier.

    The Big Sky Conference’s Presidents’ Council has approved delaying the first date of competition for its Olympic sports during the fall 2020 season.
