Volleyball has been awarded Sacramento State's Female Team Performance of the Year…the Hornets won each of their final eight home matches of the season, all coming via 3-0 sweep…among those eight victories included sweeps of the top three teams in the Big Sky - Weber State, Northern Colorado and Portland State…one of those wins was also a 25-16, 25-22, 25-19 dismantling of a Boise State team that won 24 matches and the Mountain West Conference championship…the eight-match winning streak helped vault the Hornets to a 12-4 home record, the program's most victories inside the Nest since the 2007 season…Sacramento State finished the season with a 10-6 conference record.

Basketball - The Hornets finished with a 14-16 overall record and a 10-10 mark in Big Sky Conference play — all coming after a 2020-21 season that saw the Hornets win just three games total…under the direction of first-year head coach Mark Campbell, the school-record 11-game improvement was the ninth best mark in the NCAA, and the third best from season-to-season in Big Sky history…the 14 wins overall were the most since the 2015-16 squad finished 14-17, while the 10 league wins were the most since that same 2015-16 posted 10 victories.
Golf - The Hornets captured their first team title of the year as it won the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Hawaii…the Hornets were 15 strokes out of the lead following the first round, but found themselves back just one stroke at the end of the second day…during the final round, Sacramento State led all teams with a score of 294 to win the event by five strokes…individually, Tess Blair finished second overall and was 2-over par for the tournament…Blair was one of three Hornets to shoot 73 in the final round (Jennifer Koga, Sneha Sharan were the others).
Rowing - The Hornets' varsity eight, second varsity eight and varsity four all won medals at the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Championship at Lake Natoma…the Hornets won gold in the varsity eight, silver in the second varsity eight, and bronze in the varsity four…the WIRA gold was the first for the Hornets' varsity eight since 2010…in addition, the second varsity eight won silver for the third straight year…the three boats each finished in the top three of heat racing to qualify for their grand finals.
