Our mission is to serve our student-athletes at an elite level. The Strength and Conditioning staff instills the qualities of accountability, consistency, and respect to promote a culture of success both in sport and in the classroom.

Our goal is to prepare the student-athlete for the physical and mental demands of their sport by applying science-based training principles.

The foundation of our philosophy is based upon developing the strength, power, and energy systems required to be successful in each individual sport.

We place a premium on communicating with our sports medicine and coaching staffs to ensure training programs are designed to optimally serve the needs of each program and athlete.

It is essential to educate our student-athletes on how to create successful lifestyle habits to promote their athletic performance and reduce the risk of injury. Primary areas of education are focused on aspects of recovery such as nutrition, sleep, and hydration.
