MEN’S BASKETBALL’S MONDAY ROAD GAME AT NORTHERN ARIZONA POSTPONED

SACRAMENTO — Sacramento State's game at Northern Arizona, scheduled for Monday, is being postponed due to COVID related issues within the Lumberjack program.

The Big Sky Conference is currently working on rescheduling the contest, and a new game date will be announced at a later time.

Sacramento State has now seen three games this season canceled or postponed due to COVID related issues in their opponent's program. That includes Dec. 19 at UC Riverside, and Jan. 3 at Oregon State. Both the Riverside and Oregon State games were canceled less than one hour prior to tip.

The Hornets are traveling to Greeley, Colo., this morning for their road matchup at Northern Colorado on Saturday. Tip time is 1 p.m. PST. It will mark the team's first game since Dec. 30, and just the third game in the last 35 days.

Sacramento State is currently 4-6 overall and 0-3 in the Big Sky Conference. Every scheduled game the remainder of the season will take place against a Big Sky opponent.
