May 10, 2022Jennifer Koga continued her journey at the NCAA Stanford Regional with a 6-over par round of 77 on Tuesday. Koga is tied for 52nd place heading into the final round. -
KOGA SHOOTS 76 IN FIRST ROUND OF NCAA STANFORD REGIONAL
May 09, 2022Jennifer Koga shot a 5-over par round of 76 during the first round of the NCAA Stanford Regional on Monday at Stanford GC. Koga is tied for 46th with two rounds remaining in the tournament. -
KOGA TO PLAY AT STANFORD REGIONAL IN NCAA POSTSEASON
April 27, 2022Sacramento State sophomore Jennifer Koga earned an at-large individual invitation to compete in an NCAA Women’s Golf regional, it was announced today. Koga will compete at the Stanford Regional on May 9-11. -

WOMEN'S GOLF STARTS BIG SKY CHAMPIONSHIPS ON MONDAY MORNING
April 17, 2022The Sacramento State women’s golf team will be in search of its third Big Sky Conference title in as many attempts when it competes at the conference tournament at Talking Stick Resort beginning on Monday, Apr. 18. The tournament will feature single rounds on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with the champion earning an automatic berth to an NCAA Regional. -
WOMEN'S GOLF FINISHES SEVENTH AT SNOWY REDHAWKS INVITATIONAL
April 12, 2022The Sacramento State women’s golf team wrapped up its final tournament before heading to the Big Sky Championships next week in unusual fashion as snow fell at Chambers Bay GC over the final few holes on Tuesday. As expected in those conditions, scores were high throughout the final round of the Seattle Redhawk Invitational where the Hornets finished in seventh place. -

April 11, 2022Fighting through winds and rain, the Sacramento State women’s golf team had rounds of 312 and 301 during the first day of the SeattleU Redhawks Invitational at Chambers Bay on Monday. The Hornets are tied for eighth place heading into the final round on Tuesday. -
WOMEN'S GOLF FINISHES FIFTH AFTER FINAL ROUND OF BRICKYARD IS WASHED OUT
April 05, 2022The final round of the Brickyard Collegiate was cancelled on Tuesday due to inclement weather. The Sacramento State women's golf team finished in fifth-place in the 14-team tournament. The Hornets shot 301-299-600 on the opening day and were 24 strokes off the lead of UCF (296-280-576). -

Coupled with a team score of 306 from the first round, the Hornets sit in second place and are one shot back of Hawaii for the top spot. -

NISHTHA MADAN TO PLAY IN GAINBRIDGE LPGA STARTING THURSDAY
January 26, 2022Former Sacramento State women’s golfer Nishtha Madan will compete in the Gainbridge LPGA tournament at Boca Rio Golf Club in Boca Raton, Fla., beginning on Thursday, Jan. 27. Madan was one of two golfers to earn a sponsor exemption to the event and is the first Hornet to compete in an LPGA Tour event. -

The Hornets were 4-over par as a team during the round and were led by an even-par round of 72 from Jennifer Koga and 73s from Sydney Smith and Caitlin Maurice. -

October 04, 2021Led by a 1-under par round from Jennifer Koga an even-par round from Sydney Smith the Sacramento State women’s golf team enters Tuesday’s final round of the Evie Odom Invitational tied for third place. The Hornets were 9-over par during the second round on Monday and find themselves four shots back of Charlotte for the team lead. College of Charleston is second at 4-over while Coastal Carolina and South Florida are tied with Sacramento State at 5-over. -
WOMEN'S GOLF SETS SCHOOL SINGLE-ROUND RECORD AT EVIE ODOM INVITATIONAL
October 03, 2021The early morning East Coast start time did not effect the Sacramento State women’s golf team as the Hornets built a 6-stroke lead at the Evie Odom Invitational at Princess Anne Country Club on Sunday. Sacramento State shot 276 on the par-70 course and was 4-under par as a team during the round. The score broke the school single-round record by one stroke. -
KOGA LEADS WOMEN'S GOLF IN FINAL ROUND OF THE MOLLY
September 28, 2021Jennifer Koga fired an even-par round of 72 to lead the Sacramento State women’s golf team in the final round of The Molly Collegiate on Tuesday. Koga tied for 11th overall while the Hornets finished in eighth place out of 14 teams.
